Intermodal IV Bolt Seal

The Intermodal IV is a ISO 17712 compliant high security bolt seal. Its patented plastic-coated bolt and locking case is designed for ISO containers and high value cargo shipments. This bolt has a non-spin feature when engaged and can accept dual marking on bolt and casing. C-TPAT Compliant

Features

  • Locking insert spins freely to confirm seal integrity.
  • High impact plastic cover on locking chamber; plastic coating on rod; both clearly indicate tampering.
  • Patented
  • Accepted by US & UK Customs; C-TPAT and ISO/PAS 17712.2 compliant.
  • Removed with bolt cutters.
  • Metal locking end encased in a consecutively numbered, colored body.
  • Bolt is 3.5” (89mm) long and 3/8” (9mm) in diameter. It's head is 7/16' (20mm) in diameter.

  • Carbon steel with zinc chromate finish.
  • ABS plastic body on locking case.
  • Bolt shank is plastic coated.

Marking/Printing

  • Stock seals are lased with the “SEALED” logo.
  • Locking cases are lazed with a maximum of six consecutive numbers.
  • Characters are 1/4” (6.35mm) high for easy reading.
  • Custom lazing includes seven characters for company name.
  • Heat stamping or bar code decoration also available.
