GlobalTrak Covert Cargo Condition Monitoring System
The GlobalTrak Cargo Monitoring System combines a covert Assisted GPS tracking & sensing device with a re-usable electronic seal that can be affixed to a conveyance door. The GPS tracker can be hidden within a pallet. This system is web based, so when a seal is compromised, the GPS device sends the event and location information to the stakeholder 24/7 for immediate action as an e-mail over the internet. This system can be used for cross border or domestic trailer tracking using cellular and web based technology.

Application
- Electronically secures intermodal containers, trailers, rail cars and air cargo logistic devices using a re-usable GPS tracker and a variety of eSeals. Can work in conjunction with fleet management systems to tell you where the trailer is when an event has occurred.
Features
- Web based with real time (24/7) notification when an event occurs during transport/storage. No infrastructure required
- Uses 2-way Quad-Band GSM cellular with high sensitivity Assisted (A-GPS) allowing the Covert unit to be easily installed including inside the asset or buried within cargo (pallet) in combination with 2.4GHz. Zigbee TM Wi-Fi protocol. Compliant to IEEE 802.15.4 standard.
- Provides URL allowing stakeholders to visually track the asset in real time with immediate notification of an event over the net to a PC and /or PDA as an email.
- The system has an Information Management Bureau (IMB) that displays, analyzes and transmits data to the stakeholder(s) on demand.
- Re-usable electronics with the tracker and seal makes the system economical. The more that you use it; the lower the cost.
- Three different patented seals are available: Hercules eSeal which is ISO 17712 compliant for cross border use; Hyperion eSeal which is for domestic use only and a Hercules Padlock eSeal which combines a padlock to the electronic seal for multiple uses domestically.
- Remote sensor options are available as add-ons to manage conditioning of the asset- temperature, humidity, shock and door position.
Power
- Covert GPS tracker is rechargeable using 4400mAH li-ion battery; 2 week life at 5 minutes interval reporting; 1 year at 12 hour reporting; your needs determine battery life; battery shelf life is 3 years.
- All available eSeals have a one (1) year active life; three (3) year shelf life.

- Tracker shipped in a 5.6” x 3.3” x 1.5” environmentally sealed and impact resistant housing with 10 eSeals.
